Dr. Lasisi Salami Lawal had his first degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1999, PGD in Business Management  Technology in 2006, MSc (Distinction) in Satellite Communications & Space Systems in 2011 and PhD in Engineering in 2014. He also holds MEng degree in Telecommunications Engineering. He serves as International Advisory Board member of International Conference on Computer, Communication and Control Technology (I4CT), Editorial Board Member of American Journal of Engineering and Technology Management (AJETM), Academic consultant and an Accreditor to Engineering Programmes of Universities on behalf of the Council of the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) including being Journal and Conference Proceedings Reviewer. He is a member of several professional bodies, including, Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), UK Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Member of the Engineering Council,  American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), African Scientific Institute (FASI) to mention a few.

He has published over 30 papers in conference proceedings and Journals including book chapters contributions.

He presently works with NIGCOMSAT Ltd as Acting General Manager in the Directorate of Technical Services, Head of Department, Navigation and Project Manager for the facilitation of adoption of Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) Technology in Africa with relevant national and international stakeholders. He is also a senior research fellow with the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Distinguished Senior Research Fellow with Summit University, Offa-Kwara State and a visiting scholar at the University of Sussex, UK and GNSS Center of Wuhan University, China.
